E-learning

Kids Safety Firsts’ quality online training ensures you learn all the essential skills and knowledge to give you confidence to act in an emergency situation.

You will then be able to demonstrate your skills to our qualified trainers & assessors, certifying that you are ready to provide CPR or first aid to your workmates and loved ones.


Course timeframes

CPR (HLTAID009): Detailed online training (2 hours) + face to face assessment (45 min refresher | 60 min new)
First Aid (HLTAID011): Detailed online training (5 hrs) + face to face assessment (2 hrs refresher | 3 hours new)
Childcare First Aid (HLTAID012): Detailed online training (6 hrs) + face to face assessment (2 hrs refresher | 3.5 hrs new) Note: Timings are estimates and will depend on your existing skills, as well as the number of participants.

​ Refreshers: We acknowledge your existing skills and knowledge and offer reduced face to face time for assessment. ​Drawing on extensive experience, our trainers and assessors will guide you through a comprehensive training program, empowering you with the skills and knowledge essential to react to an emergency situation.

You will have the opportunity to ask questions and participate in engaging discussion throughout your training

HLTAID009 CPR

This course provides the skills require to perform cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) in line with the Australian Resuscitation Council (ARC) Guidelines.

This course applies to all persons who may be required to provide CPR, in a range of situations, including community and workplace settings.

This course provides the skills and knowledge required to provide a first aid response to a casualty.

The course applies to individuals who may be required to provide a first aid response in a range of situations, including community and workplace settings.

Childcare First Aid

This Course provides the skills and knowledge required to provide a first aid response to infants, children and adults in line with first aid guidelines determined by the Australian Resuscitation Council (ARC) and other Australian national peak clinical bodies.

It applies to a range of workers within an education and care setting who are required to respond to a first aid emergency, including asthma and anaphylactic emergencies.

This includes early childhood workers and educators who work with school age children in outside school hours care and vacation
programs.
